This guide is designed to aid users with the setup of Magos MVS (Mass Video Stream Software). MVS is a tool that allows you to add Mass Client View as a video stream channel to VMS, for viewing, recording, etc. Supported formats include: Onvif & RTSP The tool is available for download in the download section at https://partners.magosys.com/portal/downloads.
1. Run the MVS installation file and follow the installation steps.
2. Once installed, open the browser and navigate to the MVS web interface: http://localhost:3002
3. Configuring MVS
- Network Interface: This list contains all the existing network interfaces on the running machine, Select an IP address associated with a fixed network interface. The selected network interface will be the MVS Stream IP address.
- MASS Server IP: Define the MASS server IP address.
- Port: Define the MASS Server Port Number. (Default: 3000)
- MASS User Name & MASS Password: Leave as is, or use any other MASS user with guest privileges, such as guest, recorder, etc. Remainder: In the MASS software, each user can have different view settings (home position, zoom level, zones view, etc.)
- ONVIF User Name & ONVIF Password are the ONVIF Username and password that will be used to connect/add the MVS in the ODM & VMS.
4. Once done click Save to Start\Restart the MVS Service.
5. The MVS Stream can now be added as ONVIF and RTSP to ODM, VMS, etc.
