The purpose of this article is to provide practical recommendations for configuring a clear and efficient operational map view. This involves selecting and displaying only the most relevant map layers necessary for operators, in order to reduce visual clutter, enhance situational awareness, and streamline decision-making.


This guidance is specifically intended for use in VMS that support embedding MASS web pages. By optimizing the map view.


18 STEPS

1. Click on Menu

2. Click User Management

3. Select the guest user

4. By default Guest - Regular viewer is selected. That is a "View Only" permission.

5. Select Operator , To allow the guest user to control the override (eye) functionality and drag the camera's FOV to any point on the map. (The PTZ triangle)

6. Click Save

7. Click on the Magos logo to get back to the map view.

8. To set the guest view Logout from the current user.

10. Type username, this time it's guest

11. Type password, by default it's also set to guest

17. Deselect the layers as shown (including the covergage zones)

18. To Embed as HTTP in your VMS of choise use the following URL:
http://{MASS IP ADRESS}:3000/auth?username=guest&password=guest
