This guide outlines the transition from HTTP to HTTPS for Sirius Radars and details the certificate integration process for both Windows-based and AI Appliance-based MASS.

We strongly recommend scheduling a remote support session for your first HTTPS deployment.

Procedure

1. Enable Sirius Radar HTTPS
Configure the individual Sirius Radar units to encrypt communication:

  • Navigate to Sirius Radar Dashboard > Networking > SSL & Ports.
  • Set the Protocol dropdown to HTTPS.
  • Select Upload an Existing Certificate OR Generate Self-Signed Certificate

Important

If using the Generate Self-Signed Certificate option, click Download Root CA.

Repeat this for every radar unit being integrated. Collect all .crt files into a single folder.

2. Install certificates for MASS to allow it to connect securely to the Sirius Radars.

The ca-certificate.crt file must contain the concatenated text of all individual radar Root CAs.

If using MASS on WindowsIf using MASS on AI Appliance
  1. Create ca-certificate.crt.
  2. Paste all Root CA contents into this file.
  3. Move to:
    C:\ProgramData\MASSDATA\certificates
  4. Restart the MASS Service.
  1. Create the same consolidated ca-certificate.crt.
  2. Log in to AI Dashboard as technician.
  3. Go to Networking > SSL & Ports.
  4. Upload via All Root CAs button.
  5. Restart the MASS Service.

⚠️ Technician Restriction

Accessing the AI Appliance technician user is restricted to Magos Support personnel. A remote session is mandatory to complete Step 3 for Appliance-based installs.
