This article explains how to allow Radar Manager through the Windows Firewall.

In some cases, radars or AI appliances connected to the network may not be detected by Radar Manager. This is typically due to the firewall on the host computer restricting the application’s network communications. Configuring the firewall to allow Radar Manager ensures accurate device discovery and reliable communication.


Steps

  1. Open Allowed Apps Quickly

    • Press Win + R, type: "control firewall.cpl" and press Enter.

    • Click Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall.

  2. Edit Allowed Apps

    • Click Change settings.

    • Find Radar Manager in the list.

    • If missing, click Allow another app…, browse to the Radar Manager.exe, and add it.

  3. Enable Network Types

    • Check Private and Public boxes for Radar Manager.

  4. Save Changes
