What does the 'conf' value mean?

Answer:

The 'conf' value represents the TARGET confidence level. The MASS calculates this level based on several parameters. In the MASS alarm zone settings, there is a Threshold parameter (0.75 by default). The alarm will only trigger if the target's confidence value exceeds this threshold. Higher values reduce false/nuisance alarms, while lower values increase sensitivity.

What does the 'severity' value mean?

Answer:

The 'severity' value represents the target's level of importance. When tracking targets with a limited number of cameras, the Resource Scheduler uses Severity to decide which target gets tracked. If a target inherits a higher severity from its alarm zone, it takes priority. Severity values exceeding 10 can even supersede Manual Move or Manual target selection.
